Are you an experienced technician with a keen eye for design and precision? As a TV Installer II, you’ll take on advanced television installations that go beyond basic wall mounts. This role is ideal for skilled professionals ready to work with high-end systems, gallery-style displays, and specialty mounting solutions in both residential and commercial environments.

TV Installer II

Key Responsibilities

  • Install premium and gallery-design televisions (e.g., Samsung Frame, LG Gallery, Sony OLED) with a strong emphasis on aesthetics and precision alignment.

  • Execute complex mounting solutions including:

    • Articulating, tilt, and swivel mounts

    • Motorized and recessed TV mounts

    • Custom in-wall and above-fireplace installations

  • Coordinate with designers, electricians, and project managers on pre-construction planning for custom installations.

  • Run and conceal low-voltage wiring through walls and ceilings, including HDMI, power relocation, and cable management systems.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical installation issues on-site.

  • Mentor and assist TV Installer I team members as needed.

Ensure all work meets safety standards and client expectations.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in TV mounting, AV installation, or related low-voltage work.

  • Proficiency with advanced mounting systems, including experience with non-standard surfaces (brick, stone, metal, etc.).

  • Strong knowledge of stud-finding tools, wall anchors, and secure load-bearing mounting techniques.

  • Experience with power tools, wiring, and cable concealment best practices.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

  • Excellent client-facing communication and professionalism.

  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

  • Ability to lift and mount televisions weighing 75+ lbs with assistance as needed.

Working Conditions

•    Field-based work across homes, offices, and construction sites.
•    Frequent ladder use, lifting, bending, and work in confined or elevated spaces.
•    May require occasional evening or weekend shifts based on client needs.
•    Use of PPE and compliance with on-site safety protocols.

Physical Requirements

  • Regular use of hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment.

  • Standing, walking, bending, and lifting heavy objects for extended periods.

  • Ability to lift and maneuver up to 75 lbs.

  • Comfortable working on ladders and scaffolding.
